Hello,

I can't log anymore on Android tablet or smartphone.

I'm in full HTTP with nginx redirecting port 80 to 8096. https is not enable in emby (advanced)

I had an app connected, i've disconnect and can't reconnect.

I've tried to :

delete data on android app

reinstall a tablet from scratch

restart the server

reboot the server

no chance.

When i add the server manually in the app, i can see the list of users.

Devices which didn't click on disconnect still work.

server version : 3.0.5986.0 on archlinux

Server log :

Hi, welcome.

When i add the server manually in the app, i can see the list of users.

If you click on a user, what happens then?

if i click on user it asked the password but said : unknow user or incorrect password.

From chromium it works on laptop with same user/pass

It doesn't work from app.emby.media

hummm i don't understand the question.

My local username/password. I don't use emby connect.

i can give you a temporary access if you want

i would try double checking that the password is correct. if the browser auto-filled a password, try removing it and typing it in.

ok

perhaps it's on my side.

i've got nginx proxyfing (proxypass) port 80 to port 8096

http://myservername:80 => login ok

android manual server on port 80 => NOK

app.emby.media with manual server on port 80 => NOK

so i've opened port 8096 on ipables.

it works on port 8086 with android and app.emby.media

But what i still want to understand is why i can connect (see userlist) on port 80 but not login on android.

I wonder if some part of the request is getting dropped by the proxy along the way before reeaching Emby Server.
