Hi, hoping somebody patient can help?
I love Emby no really love it, I bore everybody who comes round to show them how smart the system is and happily pay for the premium service.
However, any film or tv show that has segments which are in a foreign language and subtitles come up are not showing at all.
I first noticed it with the Revent and more with the tv show Orange is the new Black, there are swaths of dialog in Spanish I have resorted to watching the shows via VLC which show the subtitles but I would much rather use Emby.
I run Windows 10 and use Emby Theatre.
I am not the most technical on the PC so nice and basic with any responses please guys

Hi, welcome. Have you tried enabling subtitles during playback by hitting the CC icon?

What do you see under the media info. The subtitles are available? Can you post a screenshot?

are these internal or external subtitles? external means they'd be in a separate file next to the video, like an srt file for example. thanks.

Yes but also recognized by Emby?

When you open a movie in Emby (the detail page).

Go to the end, You can find something like "Media Info". Take a screenshot from that part...

I can't reproduce the problem, sorry. Does the issue occur when playing in the emby web interface?

Ok. Since I cannot reproduce the problem, is it possible for you to upload a sample file for testing to something like dropbox or google drive? thanks.
