Movie Release Dates Sync

I've recently noticed that it doesn't appear that movie dates (ListItem.Year or ListItem.Premier) don't get passed to Kodi.

This has the effect of not being able to sort by release year or date.

I've tried this on Kodi 16.1 and alpha 17 using the 2.2.19

Is this just me or are others experiencing this too?

Could it be a skin thing? I can sort by year just fine with Aeon nox

Angel - I've tried it on a few other skins... amber, aeon nox, Titan.

None of them display the date. I've added a few movies manually to kodi and they display the date fine.

It's like the server is not passing the year data during the sync. The date is availble on the server end and is visible through the Web interface.

I'm currently running server 3.0.6020.0 on a Windows 7 machine.

Really weird. Should I try a reinstall?

Cheers

I am using 16.1 - alpha 17 is not supported so if the problem only exists there, we'll get around to it when it hits RC.

The year data is definitely passed. Let's test Aeon Nox.

In the side panel, what view are you using? Is year simply greyed out? What is the shortcut action for the library section (where does it point to). Are you using playback mode set to addon or native?

So, I reinstalled Kodi. First 16.1, then an alpha nightly from about a month ago and then 17 Alpha 2. Dates are showing in all installed versions.

I'm not sure what happened with the last install, but there must have been a problem there. It's working fine now.

Thanks for the help!
