How to view next episode ??

On rips which have multiple episodes on them, how does one watch the episodes in Emby Theater?

I thought it might just play one episode after another since there is no menu, but it only plays the first, then ends and goes back to the menu.

I have a bluray of True Detective which I ripped to the server (ripped it in native folder structure).  There are 3 episodes on this rip.  Emby Theater only plays the 1st.  So, how can I view the remaining episodes via ET?

{Emby Classic plays them fine, but I am using TMT6 as an external player on that machine.}

Use MakeMKV to rip TV shows - it'll let you rip as separate episodes.

I don't think it's supported on folder rips. It would be a good idea to convert to MKV.

Is the  ANY  compression done with MKV conversion?  ANY (audio &/or video) ?

The reason I ask is I watch movies HERE.

Compression is easy to spot on an 11' wide screen.

If MKV is simply placing an MT2S into a different container withOUT any compression in audio or video, then perhaps I may need to investigate it more.

Thanks.

MakeMKV does not do any compression, it just remuxes into a new container.

Is MakeMKV the best choice for going the MKV route?

It's one of several, you can use. I actually use DVDfab. Options to compress, or not...along with many other features

I actually have DVDFab 9.  I don't have ALL the options though.  May have to see if I have the one which allows for making MKV's.
