AlwinHummels 134
I see a lot off settings in the LiveTV section but I don't know how to use with my DVBLink TVButler. My situation is as follow. Synology DS415+ NAS with DVBLink server and Emby Server version: 3.1.78.0 on my NAS ar 2 TVButler USB sticks. On Emby I've the DVBLink Addon version 1.2.0.0 My Players are all RPi's with LibreElec -> Kodi Krypton (last Alpha version) What are the most optimal settings for Emby and Emby4Kodi? Thanks for all help and explanations - Alwin Edited July 28, 2016 by AlwinHummels
Spaceboy 2484
But you are using dvblink directly with Kodi I assume? It shouldn't need to touch emby

Spaceboy 2484
no problem happy to try and help! its just you mentioned the dvblink plugin for emby and i wouldn't recommend using that if you are only going to be watching tv in kodi in kodi the dvblink plugin is already installed, you just set it up to connect to your server. i leave pretty much all settings as default, certainly switch off transcoding if its on but its extremely simple to set up. then to get emby for kodi running i followed these instructions https://emby.media/emby-for-kodi.html
AlwinHummels 134
Thanks, I like to see a guide in emby so that's why I set the plugin ;-)
