Show movie sub-view folder artwork

Hi,

Had a look through the forums on how to do this but all answers appear to point to the old media browser server.

I was hoping to add artwork to the folder icons for Resume, Movies, Favourites & Genres. I have attached a screenshot of what I am talking about.

If this can't be done it's not an issue. Just wanted to ask.

Thanks

Create a folder called general in your main metadata directory (wherever you have that set to) and add a new folder in there for each subview named exactly as per the subview in EMC.

So for example here's screenshots of mine:

General folder level:

thanks for relying, my metadata is stored in roaming\appdata\emby-server. Is that same folder?

That's just the default location, I moved mine to another drive that's all. Yes, just add the general folder into your metadata directory and do the above structure, then once in place, restart WMC.

Hey,

Sorry for delay in replying. I tried what you said and it worked a charm. I can't seem to do this for the Genres folders. I took a fan art collection from the GitHub Emby resource. But when I add to the meta data folder it just blanks out the genre name. See the screenshot attached.57b607761c10b_Capture.jpg
