frumpl 5 Posted July 26, 2016 Share Posted July 26, 2016 So I noticed a few of my tv shows, not all, are showing multiple files for the same episode. Looking at the the metadata, one file is at: \\192.168.0.55\TV\.... the other is at \\UNRAID5\TV\.... This is the same location (ip address = computer name), so it is seeing the same file as 2 different files. My library is set to \\192.168.0.55\TV, so I'm not sure how it is using the computer name as a location. In the metadata for the series the path is correct (\\192.168...). The path to the season is not (\\UNRAID5\....). I can't edit the path, so I'm not sure how to fix it. I hope that's clear. Log attached. In Kodi, the series appears twice and inside each is the season and each episode. Those delete item lines appear several times, so it doesn't like look they are actually being removed from the database. And I have no idea how they would have got there in the first place. My duplicates are showing up in the web interface, WMC and android app. I thought it was only happening for one TV show, but after looking into it last night it is happening to multiple TV series, but not all. I only have one path in the TV library. Pretty much identical to frumpl's issue, just with my own folder and server names. frumpl 5 Posted July 27, 2016 Author Share Posted July 27, 2016 So, I thought once I watched those shows and deleted them, the issue would be gone. But, now I'm not so sure. It seems to be spreading. There are now 5 series that have this problem, up from 2 when I noticed it. For one series, it's only one season and not the other one. Also, another strange event. In my TV Kids library I had 2 folders. I deleted one (\\192.168.0.88\TV.Kids.Online$). I didn't delete the tv shows from the disk, I just wanted them out of my libraries. In the web interface, these episodes now show up in TV Streams library with a path of \\WIN8VM\TV.Kids.Online&\... The TV Streams' one and only folder is \\192.168.0.55\Streams\MyLibrary\TV Shows, which is an entirely different computer.
