[BUG] Can't mark whole series as watched/unwatched

I can't mark a complete series as watched/unwatched from the TV view. I have to go into each series and mark each season separately.

 

In most other clients, I can do it from the TV view.

Yep, that's why I liked it :)  Probably just never added.  I don't see a green button in the legend at the bottom of that screen

Thanks for confirming Mr Frost :)

I recall chess being concerned about accidentally marking a whole season as watched, so I expect at the time it was intentional.  Whether it is correct or not is another thing.

Ya, I would hate to mark a whole series watched by accident and then have to go back and fix it, especially on a larger series.  I might like to mark a whole series unwatched if I ever want to rewatch it in its entirety.  Which ever way makes more sense.

I added "Mark season watched" some time ago as I thinks that's fairly harmless. "Mark series watched" is more problematic due to the time taken for the server to complete the request. The code is in there, commented out.

Just mark the seriesId as watched, one api call. You can do the same with seasonId for seasons.

 

Are you iterate the children of .items, and marking each Id watched seperately? That indeed could take awhile.

Yes the current Samsung client is looping through child items individually but cmcg just updated github with your suggestion a few hours ago.
