Beta Tester on Version 3.0.5963.0

For the last 3 days now I've been unable to launch emby on WMC. This error, for the last 2 months or so, has occurred, but as long as I keep trying it usually launches into Emby after 3 times or less. But the last 3 days it doesn't matter how many times it just will not go into the app. I have restarted the server, restarted the clients, restarted the network to make sure it's all running okay and so far no success. I've tried deleting "serverpackages.json" (solution from another thread) and that didn't seem to do anything either. It appears the server is seeing the client try to connect (as it appears as an active user), but never completes. Access from the web-client appears to work fine. Attached are logs. Anything to help would be appreciated!

For what it's worth the client connects, authenticates successfully (according to the Activity Log) then disconnects. I really have no idea what else to try. I've uninstalled Emby for WMC and reinstalled it and one time on one client it connected, but the others are still failing.

So I was able to get in. I modified the MediaBrowserXML.config file to reflect the Chocolate theme (over my current, Xenon) and it opened right up. When I changed it back to Xenon and tried to re-launch it went right back to giving me the same issue. From the error log it looks like it's having issues pulling the "Next Up" list from the server. When I click on it from the local machine it does take 30-60 seconds before "Next Up" loads. Is there something I can try to fix this? I still have no idea why it's occurring and it's very, very frustrating.

Also of note, when I load Chocolate is shows my latest items on the home screen, but when I click TV it says "No Items" when I go into a smaller sub-folder, however, it displays those items just fine.

As you discovered, your problem is with the Xenon theme.  I don't think that was ever released as an official finished theme and I know Cheesegeezer has been away for a while so not keeping up with it.

As for the other issue, please start a new thread with relevant logs and info for that.  Thanks.

So what I've been able to discover over the last weeks is that if I remove my library database file from the data folder and let the entire library re-scan (taking ~24 hours) that everything works fine again... for about 3 days. Then it starts going back to the same error. While switching to Chocolate Theme still prevents the error from occurring it is not one my family likes to use, mainly due to the Next Up feature missing. I've also tried other themes that have NextUp and they all seem to be display nothing in that section. I'm not sure how the themes pull that information, but it seems to me that with my particular library something is causing it to error in the NextUpSet (wherever that is housed). Is there something else I can try without having to rescan my library every 72 hours?

I should also add that I've tried running Emby Theater and the Next Up also won't display.
