n3w813 0
Software Versions Windows 7 SP1 32bit Emby server 3.0.5936.0 (running on Server 2008 R2) Emby server plugins - Trakt, Fast Startup Sync Kodi Jarvis DSPlayer (KodiSetup-jarvis.16.1.dsplayer-final-04.26.2016.15.15.dx11.exe) Emby for Kodi beta 2.2.10 (set up to use Direct Play) Titan skin When I stop the playback of a movie or a TV show, Kodi will show the progress percentage in the GUI for just 1 second then it'll disappear. When starting playback on the same item again, it plays from the beginning. If I play a video from the Emby webclient and stop mid file, the progress is saved correctly. I can resume playback in Kodi correctly, but when I stop the playback, the same behavior as above is shown and resume point is not saved. Also, I have performed Emby add-on full database reset in Kodi several times but it does not resolve the issue. Kodi.log is attached. Thanks! kodi.log Edited April 28, 2016 by n3w813

Angelblue05 4130
Sorry I'm quite busy dealing with life, I haven't been able to provide the help I want to. It's quite strange, I can't reproduce this issue. I see in your logs, that the current position seems to be set as 0.0 when the playback ended and report to the server. Does this happen for all of your content? Edited May 3, 2016 by Angelblue05

FYI, the same behavior is apparent on both of my Windows 7 clients with the same exact software configuration.
puithove 208
I see that you're using dsplayer - can you reproduce it with an official Kodi build? I'm wondering of the addon is grabbing the correct position from dsplayer. Edited May 4, 2016 by puithove
Angelblue05 4130
Nice catch. I don't know how can this be fixed.... The way we get the position is with the following api in Kodi: http://mirrors.kodi.tv/docs/python-docs/14.x-helix/xbmc.html#Player-getTime
n3w813 0
Ok, so last night I did a full local database reset on one of the clients and on the first video it played, the progress percentage was actually saved and I was able to resume from the saved point. After that, all subsequent plays do not save the progress anymore. I will perform the same tasks again sometime this weekend and will post the logs here. Angelblue05 4130
I'm pretty sure what you are seeing is Kodi saving progress but being overwritten with the emby add-on afterwards. There is a delay between the two actions, because it requires your server to tell the add-on the last resume point (but since the add-on reports it as 0, it removes the Kodi resume point once the server content update comes thru) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Edited May 6, 2016 by Angelblue05
