denz 426 Posted February 12, 2016 Share Posted February 12, 2016 I have noticed that some live tv channels direct play and some are transcoded so have attached logs to see can ffmpeg be improved or the server detection that it direct plays all of them if possible. anderbytes 139 Posted February 12, 2016 Share Posted February 12, 2016 I took a quick look at your logs and my first guess is that is something related to Bitrate limit for DirectPlay. Trespassing this limit...caused him not to be eligible for direct, so he was forced to Transcode. Maybe if you try to take a better look at Direct Stream parameters in Emby?
