jrmcfall 0 Posted February 6, 2016 Share Posted February 6, 2016 I just updated my windows Emby server to 3.0.5821.0. After the update when I cast to Chromecast it mirrors the webpage. It use to display "Ready to Cast" with the Emby logo on the screen. Then I could cast what the kids want to watch and could close the browser if I wanted or just continue doing what I need. Now if I close the browser it closes the Chromecast connection. Is there a setting I need to adjust? I am using Google Chrome 48.0.2564.103 m. jrmcfall 0 Posted February 7, 2016 Author Share Posted February 7, 2016 The way I usually do it is connect to Emby thouhg Chrome. Then I initiate the chormecast via the extension in chrome.
