Theater Version Numbers

I'm confused.

I keep seeing references to "latest version" but no version number. What is the latest version number? Where is that documented? Normally there should be a version history list but I can't find it.

Am I right that the latest version number for the "New" theater is 1.x.x while the version number for the latest "Old" theater is 3.x.x? Surely that can't be right.

Yea it's not right, should be changed. The reality is they are two completely different apps, and if i could do it over again we probably would have given the new app a completely new name.

Cannot the new Emby Theater available for download be named after the version number, and not just setup.exe ?

Are we still at version .41 ?

Its been on .41 for a while, which is fine, but I begin to think maybe its not updating so I thought just putting the version number in the download file name would be an easy way to check.

1.0.41 is the latest version available currently.

So is this how I get a copy for the NUC I'm building right now? This NUC is probably not going to use EMC at all but I want to control Emby with a remote which I don't think that the webapp will allow.

Does it still have a WMC launcher built in is I were to want to do that? Where to get the old app?

You should download from this website initially. I don't know anything about Windows Media Center. I have never really used it and don't have any computers with it installed or where it can be officially supported.

The old version is embedded in a thread somewhere in these forums. Not really sure where as it isn't a viable option for my environment.
