Happy2Play 8144
Best guess the poster/folder image came with the movie. But if I go in and choose the primary image, it will come up with the proper poster for the movie. I have tried to disable certain metadata image providers with no luck. Your screen shot of primary image in image editor doesn't reflect what you are saying.
daign 2
Best guess the poster/folder image came with the movie. Your screen shot of primary image in image editor doesn't reflect what you are saying. No images, no nfo files. nothing in the folders. As said before. I cleared my movie folder of ALL non media files. All images, subtites, nfo files etc. Each folder is empty upon refreshing the entire library in emby it downloads those actual photos of the movie disc with random "HD4U" or "Sad Panda" images in my screenshots. I have verified it with multiple movies. Clear out the entire folder of everything but the media file, refresh and get new images. And again, more actual photos of the dvds.... so odd The screenshots are to show the error... I don't understand your comment. I can go into emby and edit images, and it'll pull the proper primary image no problem. I have disibled any kodi artwork addonds or image downloaders as well. This is an emby problem. I have close to 1100 movies so doing that with 100+ movies is a real pain in the butt. Edited November 29, 2015 by daign
Deathsquirrel 741
Most likely that image was the top result for your primary image provider at the time the movie was added to your library. Sometimes some pretty stupid images sneak thrpugh on some of the services. You may want to set fanart.tv and then themoviedb as your number 1 and 2 image providers. I've had pretty good luck with those.
