s3thg3ck9 0
Hi guys, When setting up my Emby I thought it would be a great idea to save the artwork only on the server. In the aftermath - after setting my whole music collection up - i think it would be the better idea to save the artwork within it's respective folders so i can easily update and edit the art. I've checked the option "save artwork and metadata into media folders" and ran "scan media library". Now i can see the .nfo files being stored within my media. Leaves following question open: How do i get the images moved as i can only see the nfos right now? Thanks! s3th
Koleckai Silvestri 1150
Refresh the library and choose to replace existing images. You will probably want to delete your current metadata folder, wherever it is as, well. The refresh will rebuild it. This could involve a lot of bandwidth from providers. Thanks, I found another thread where you stated this. Just wondering why I should replace existing images as I have a few folder.jpgs already in place where I want Emby to take them directly. Koleckai Silvestri 1150
You would refresh and replace the images because the database and .nfo/.xml files can still reference the images stored in the central metadata folder. At least that has been my experience.
