Concept211 13 Posted May 16, 2016 Share Posted May 16, 2016 (edited) I'm having the same issue with the latest version (v3.0.302). I tries to install and then errors out with a message "Error writing to file: mediabrowser.dll" and then fails and rolls back the install. I've set the permissions for the install directory as well as the temp directory to full-control but still no luck. I even tried using the Microsoft Fix It tool as @@Drom suggested, but that made no difference. I've tired uninstalling and installing fresh and no luck either. The strange thing is that the old installer that @@ebr uploaded (MediaBrowser.msi_3.0.287.msi) seems to install just fine. But any new version won't work. Why would this be? I had Panda Antivirus running and it was interfering with the install but not even warning me about it.
