How is taking time to re-encode an entire library (while losing image quality and menu features) on discs you already own moving "forward"? Storage is cheap. What "forward" improvements are being held back by maintaining existing functionality for people who actually lead the movement? In ten years I don't even want to know what will constitute a quality home theater experience (look "High quality" streaming! What do you mean I went over my data cap in 5 days!).
