Issue downloading QAM guide data from SD

Just setup a HDHomerun Extend in Emby but it won't download any guide data when set to QAM for my provider (FIOS). I went through the setup of the device and had it scan for channels (found 30+). If I set it to Antenna, it looks like it's going through the downloading of data but when set to QAM (which is what I'm using) it takes less then 1 sec to complete and no data is downloaded or shown in the guide. When I had it set to Antenna it did download the channel icons and populated them so it downloaded something. I am running the current beta and also tried the dev build but no change.

yea the channels in the tuner are not matching the data from SD

so either the wrong lineup was chosen, or unfortunately, you might just have to wait until we have a way for you to map the channels manually.

Actually the listings that SD is supplying for the zip code/provider is incorrect and probably should be corrected on that side. SD is just repeating the full listing from Digital as QAM where in reality it's actually should be mapped to OTA type data I would think.

Sorry, I'm not parsing that sentence. The QAM lineup on the server has 34 channels in it. The digital lineup has a few hundred, so I'm not sure why you're saying that we're repeating the full listing of digital (aka "-X") to -QAM?

i guess we can match call sign to the guide name from hdhr?

I'm referring to what I see when I edit the lineup on the SD website. It shows the lineup starting at channel 2 up to the 1800 Music channels. I would think it should be more like the Broadcast lineup as that's what it more closely matches (I.E. 2.1, 2.2, 4.1, 4.2 ETC.) as that is what FIOS is offering.

The website is for the old XML service; everything with the JSON service (which is what Emby is using) is done through client (Emby) -> Server API.

Why then do I need to choose a lineup on the website for it to function? There isn't an QAM lineup that I could choose, only the Digital.

You don't need to select a lineup on the website - again, that's just for the old XML service. Once you've created your account that's the last time you'll be doing anything on the website for the JSON service (unless you're opening a trouble ticket or renewing your account).

I was going to try to switch to an Antenna to at least see if it works but now it's not showing any available lineups.

You already have an antenna lineup on your JSON account. Actually, you already have 4 lineups, so you're not going to be able to add any new ones until you delete some of the existing ones first.

You need to use Emby for lineup management, not the Schedules Direct website. Does Emby now have a "Delete" function (it didn't yet as far as I know)? Because on the JSON server you still have 4 lineups; 2 Comcast, an Antenna, and the QAM.

There is a delete button... I will try to delete everything and set it up again when I get home later tonight.

Yes; since users are limited in the number of lineups they can have, your delete function needs to perform a local delete and send the delete API command as well.
