Thank you very much

I just wanted to say thanks for this awesome software!!!  I've been running HTPC's since XBMC on the original Xbox, as well as Linux, Raspberry Pi, etc, as well as others, and nothing compares to this solution, as they were all local solutions only.  Now I can share my media collections with anyone in the world, and it's just awesome.  The only thing I'm really curious about is how many users I can support without affecting streaming performance with 20MB upload from my server.  I know I can't handle the bandwidth that Netflix provides, obviously.

Anyway, thanks for the great open source solution and keep up the good work.

You can probably support 2-3 concurrent high quality streams. If you are fine with lower quality you ca probably support 4-5 concurrent streams, but I would be surprised if you can support more than that. At that stage, you will most likely be more hardware limited.

That's great.  I'm running MB on a licensed VMWare ESXi server (HP DL-380-G6) on a CentOS VM with 4GB RAM and 4 2.6Ghz processors and about 30GB HDD space.  So far the streams are very smooth in HD, but I haven't had more than a couple streams going at once.  I guess time will tell, I told about 15 of my friends/family about it, so we'll see what happens.

One thing I noticed this afternoon, after installing the Windows Emby client, was that it showed my visible user accounts, but there was nowhere to "manually" login.  Looks like a small oversight.

Do you mean the windows store Emby app? If so, then there should be a green "Manual Login" button just underneath all the user icons.

If you want to hide your user icons - then go to the server > Users > Advanced Control and check "Hide this user from login screens".

Right, my admin user is hidden.  No, not the Windows store app, the Windows Vista/7/8/10 app.

Emby Theatre? If so, then that is currently being re-written and the new version will hopefully be available in the next month or so.
