revengineer 125
I found that selecting any one of a number of movies on the home screen crashes the Roku app and exits to the Roku home screen. After the movie is selected, the message shows "retrieving", but the content page is never displayed before the app crashes. The error message below was found in the log for isolated testing. The error is sandwiched between two UDP messages to the IP address of the Roku. 2015-10-07 22:27:19.0763 Info - App: Udp message sent to 192.168.1.86:470002015-10-07 22:27:22.9635 Error - App: Error in Dynamic Image Provider *** Error Report *** Version: 3.0.5724.6 Command line: C:\Users\admin\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\system\MediaBrowser.ServerApplication.exe -service Operating system: Microsoft Windows NT 6.2.9200.0 Processor count: 4 64-Bit OS: True 64-Bit Process: False Program data path: C:\Users\admin\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server Application Path: C:\Users\admin\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\system\MediaBrowser.ServerApplication.exe Value cannot be null. Luke 37060
if you're on windows, and if you don't mind grabbing the dev server, this should be resolved there, although keep in mind, it may bring other problems associated with pre-release builds. otherwise it's resolved for the next release. revengineer 125
Glad this has been fixed. Thank you. I will stick with the stable build for now. I have an alternative means to watch my movies on the Roku in the meantime.
pmac 132
I've tried updating to the dev build and playing a movie still kicks me to the home screen. For whatever reason TV shows work fine though. I've deleted and reinstalled the roku app as well.

Luke 37060
Can you grab a log from the device? http://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/16251-how-to-obtain-a-log-from-the-emby-roku-client/ Thanks.
