Hoping it will play nice with Emby, doesn't have as much CPU grunt as my FireTV but hopefully enough for Kodi to be able to stream 1080p from my Emby server, will be nice to reduce the number of Boxes sitting under the TV (Which was the main reason I bought it, wanted to replace a youview box with a satellite receiver) Suspect I'll try it on Android rather than OpenElec so I can use the Netflix app. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
dragon2611 27 Posted October 9, 2015 Author Share Posted October 9, 2015 Didn't like it running android, was to slow and the interface for netflix.etc was to clunky because it uses the normal android interface rather than a TV interface. However on the OpenElec image it runs Kodi nicely including the Kodi plugin, switched the TV backend to TVheadend which is nice as means I can stream LiveTV to other devices on the network. I've not tried connecting Emby to the TVheadend backend yet as my Emby server is remote so I'm not sure I want to be funnelling that down the WAN.
