I'm really about to go nuts here!.  I'm just trying to change the location where my recorded TV goes.  Currently they're being saved on my local Windows 7 drive (C:\Users\Penny\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\data\livetv\recordings) but a really want them to go to a network drive.  I've tried in Metadata Manager, added new Media Folders with path substitution.  I'm just at a loss.

What's the most acceptable way to have a media folder record to a network drive?  Should I have a different Media Folder that points to a different recording location?  Can I change the location of the recordings for the default "Recorded TV" media folder?

I still have Windows Media Center installed becuase I need to make sureEmby works properly before losing my wife's recordings.  Could WMC be causing a problem?

I'm using:

Windows 7

HD HomeRun Connect

You can set your recording path from the Dashboard by going to Live TV - Settings and entering a UNC path to your networked drive.  WMC or its settings have no effect on EmbyTV.  I use WMC to record simulataneously with EmbyTV (for testing purposes) and they both work great together.

Thank you very much for this!  I was able to record to where I wanted.  I don't know how I was missing that configuration settings.  I was all over that area and don't remember seeig it.

Now, once I get the app configured...AGAIN...maybe I'll be able to watch the recorded shows!
