so I have changed all the permissions correctly. but when I scan it stops at 33.2% which I am very sure it is due to the images that emby create have the wrong permission meaning when it goes to access the file aftwr creating it. it simply cannot

thanks to msatter for getting me so far but we have one more and hopefully last error

sorry luke so the logs are attached

I have checked to see if the file is there in the temp folder which it is (it may not add up to both the reports as I have tried deleting the files in the temp folder to fix the issue) but it is there

and as you can see even the logs are created with the wrong permissions

any help would be great

It may not be the permissions as an issue but it is a guess

we're just using basic operating system methods to read and write files. the files are marked read/write, how are they wrong?

I am not saying they are it was a guess.

as u can see there is a issue somewhere and I was just trying to help as i thought it was that.

well right now we're going about this wrong because you've told us what you think the problem is and we're basically debugging off that, when we should instead go back to whatever your original problem is and see post #2.

I am only put what myself and msattler thought what it was sorry. and which post r u reffering to . and I have added the logs above so I am guessing you should know what the problem is by that. ( I am not the best person at reading them myself)

please enable debug logging under advanced, restart the server, run a library scan, give it several minutes, then post that log. thanks.

MSattler

Luke are you able to help ?

You only posted part of the server log.  Copy and paste the entire server log into pastebin.org and then update the ticket with the link.

The portion you posted does still show an issue reading one of the files, but there could be other clues in the full log.

it was unedited so i dont know what to do.
