ISO handling with virtual CloneDriver?

Hi,

I've been searching through all of the forum, but I haven't found some definite information as to which options for ISO playback are working with Emby for WMC?

I'm currently using Virtual CloneDrive instead of Daemon tools. Is there any way to make this work with "Emby for WMC"? Or is an Installation of "Daemon Tools" the only way to handle ISO files?

Regardless of the answer, I would find it really helpful to have a clear indication/selection on the configuration dialog as to which ISO mounting tools can be used with "Emby for WMC"... (and maybe, in which cases "Use Autoplay" should be checked or not).

Thanks and best regards,

I use Virtual Clonedrive with out issues. Open the Emby for WMC Configurator and select the Extenders & ISO's tab. Change the selected player from Daemon to Virtual Clonedrive by browsing to the Elaborate Bytes folder and select VCDMount.exe. I have Autoplay checked. I also have VCD checked for Eject Unmounts Image File. Hope that helps! :)

Porkbone,

great, it worked once i chose "VCDMount.exe". Previously I tried daemon.exe, but it didn't work.

Just a minor suggestion for improvement I had would be to list all compatible ISO mounting tools and the corresponding command line parameters from within the configuration dialog..

Best regards,

Just for completeness: I made some modification to the configurator to clearly indicate the supported tools and this has been picked up by the project.

In the future the dialog will look like this:
