djonnie 14 Posted September 12, 2015 Share Posted September 12, 2015 I have Theater configured to use mpc-hc as an external player, because of stuttering with the builtin player (tried EVR, EVR+, MadVR and tried avoid shuttering and all of the other options). Calling mpc-hc from Theater works fine, but it would be great if I could supply a chapter number as a parameter for example using {CHAPTER}, just like how {PATH} is subsituted to the full path of the video file. I noticed {CHAPTER} doesn't work. Is there some way to get this working? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
AdrianW 1052 Posted September 12, 2015 Share Posted September 12, 2015 Maybe the new version of MBT will work properly with emby chapters. I use MPC-HC as the external player with EMC and also via the MPC Remote for use with the WebUI. And in both cases I can start playback at any specific chapter. Passing a chapter number to MPC-HC could only work if all your content had actual chapters within the video container - but many don't, so emby creates it's own chapters at each 5 minute interval.
