If you switch to confluence skin, do you have the same issue? Also which version of the add-on are you using currently?

Yeah same issue in confluence skin, and if you mean emby server then it's Version 3.0.5724.3 checked for the update but says it's up to date

No I meant the emby add-on version in Kodi. With 1.1.36, there was modifications done to boxsets. Did you always have this issue? Did you try doing a reset/resync of your library to see if it fixes the issue? Are you movies grouped into collections in the emby web client?

Ok, you are on stable. Don't worry, 1.1.36 is beta. Can you give this a try: In the webclient > your portrait > settings > Display settings > Enable Group movies into collections

Then do a resync in Kodi and let me know if it works. If it doesn't work, then I'll need the log from when you did the resync. Set the add-on debug to Info in add-on settings > advanced tab. Thanks :)

Edit: If you need more help with the log: http://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/17599-how-to-report-a-problem/

First have you actually grouped any movies into collections in the server?

Hi, no I haven't didn't think I would have to do that manually thought emby would/could do the same thing kodi did and group the sets it's self? cheers

Only If you install the auto box sets plugin from the emby server catalogue will they be created automatically

So install the plugin and run it... Or create some collections yourself in the web client, and when you have some showing in the web client then try resyncing in kodi

Check that movies that are part of a collection have a valid collection ids in the metadata manager and then try refresh in the auto box set plugin, also are you a supporter? That plugin may require supporter status to work

Well this seems to be the problem none of what are supposed to be part of a collection have the id in the metadata, so does this mean I have to add it manually to every movie that should / I want in a collection? cheers

Thanks for the reply but that just isn't working for me I've lost count how many times I've run it, unless I go and add the collection id to the metadata itself then run Refresh Box Sets it then adds them as a collection, don't know what I'm doing wrong lol

It doesn't happen instantly, it takes a couple of minutes, however it should tell you what's happening in your server log if it's not working at all.

This is my server log after restarting emby server and running Refresh Box Sets if you've got time to have a quick look for me as it might as well be written in ancient klingon from what I can understand other then seeing some errors at the bottom, and many thanks for sticking with me on this

Ok, can you tell me if all your movies have their themoviedb id assigned in the metadata manager? I think for the auto boxset to work, your content need to be properly assigned their tmdb ids. If it's not the case, you could try to do a refresh at your movies level in the metadata manager. It should force it to scrape the ids for all of your movies.

Perhaps post in the plugins forum with a server log for Ebr to look at.

It could be that your Movies metadata needs refreshing as well - you can do it at folder level from within Metadata Manage.
