Windows 10 web client live tv

Hi All,

 

I'm having an issue viewing live TV with Microsoft Edge and IE11 in Windows 10. Chrome works perfect.

 

When I start a live TV channel with edge the screen goes black ready to play a video and the NPVR system tray icon turns red (Tuner in use) and then I get the error message "Video Error There was an error playing the video. Please ensure there is an open tuner available". When I try with IE11 in windows 10 it goes to the black screen the NPVR system tray icon turns red (Tuner in use) but the video usually doesn't start.

 

NPVR works fine as well as other browsers. Edge and IE 11 play other videos fine its just live tv.

Can other people running NPVR and emby use edge for live tv?

 

NPVR Version - 3.5.7 (Old version had the same problem 3.4.8)

Emby Server Version - 3.0.5719.35477 (Dev but beta had the same issue)

Thanks for any ideas or help.

 

I'm not sure if this is a web client issue or not. The problem is browser dependent so I figured it might be. I tried in the npvr forum but nobody responded. Also two of my friends who upgraded to Windows 10 have the same issues.
