SamL 1
Hi, I just installed the server on ubuntu 14.04, version 3.0.5724.3 When I launch a library scan, it gets stuck on the TV folder. I cancelled the scan and restarted the service a few times, but the result is always the same. I also tried to manually identify and refresh somes series with the metadata manager, but it also frequently gets stuck while refreshing. Also when cancelling a scan, the button to launch a new one stays greyed out, I need to restart the server to be able to launch a new scan. Scanning of movies worked fine. I attach all the logs since I installed the server. Thanks. server-63576906802.txt server-63576906866.txt server-63576909665.txt server-63576914082.txt server-63576914906.txt

Will keep trying to restart server i suppose..... how big is your library? I have quite a big one and had some troubles in the beginning, I fixed it this way: first in kodi I did a library scan and made sure that as much as I could all that I want to be included had scrapped nfo data from kodi, then I exported the library into separate files from within kodi. Next, a fresh install of emby server, configured the shares to be added, in metadata i configured to pick up existing NFO and I turned off everything else, such as deep scan, or chapter image extraction etc. kept it absolute bare minimum, then ran the library scan within emby and it worked for me, see here for some useful help/comments i received, maybe it will help you as well: http://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/13410-xbmc-mysql-library-and-mb3xbmb3c-library-sharing/ my library scan takes now about 1.5 hours for around 50TB
Luke 37054
I don't think it's stuck, I think that's just your perception. Go to metadata in the server dashboard, turn off features you don't care about. Go to metadata -> advanced, turn off frame by frame analysis
Diedrich 355
Place the mouse cursor at the end of the progress bar and leave it there. Go mow the lawn. When you come back, see how much further the progress bar has moved beyond the mouse cursor.
