Trying to setup my htpc to be wife friendly but can'y seem to get it to work. My emby server is located on my unraid My befroom htpc: windows 10 kodi 15.1 aoen nox skin Emby 1.135 After installing plugin from beta zip my library duplicated everything. I thought emby would replace libary or do i have to manual turn off the kodi's library. The main issue is the files from libary play fine but emby videos get failed playback I have attached my logs. Unrelated does kodi automatically update when new stuff is added to emby? Emby already scrapped all data and images inside the folders but kodi isn't using it and seems to be scrapping again. kodi.log Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

This is why it's important to remove sources first and clean out those entries. You can create a back up of your Kodi userdata folder just in case. You seem to be getting this error when playback starts: NOTICE: DXVA::CProcessorHD::PreInit - The Direct3d device doesn't support DXVA-HD. NOTICE: CWinRenderer::Preinit - could not init DXVA-HD processor - skipping When you playback something via your regular library, does Kodi see your paths like this or is it different?: /media/Tv Shows/The 10th Kingdom/Season 01/The 10th Kingdom - S01E01 - Part 1.mkv Everything keeps in sync with the emby server. So if something new gets added to your server, it will automatically get added to Kodi. If you watch something outside of Kodi, but it's an emby player, it will automatically sync the playstate (watched, resume point, playcount) with Kodi.
