Missing Movies

I'm a long time Kodi (XBMC) user, but pretty new to emby (LOVING it so far!)  I set up my emby server and it scanned all my movies perfectly.  Then I added the emby add on for Kodi, used the add on to reset my library, and then it scanned everything into Kodi.  Worked 99% perfectly, but a couple of my movies aren't showing up in Kodi.

The movies are definitely in my emby database, but they are missing from Kodi when it scans my emby database to update the Kodi library.  I've completely uninstalled emby and kodi and started everything from scratch, yet Kodi keeps failing to include these same couple of movies.

Any ideas what the problem might be?  Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Thanks!

Welcome! :)

Is there anything particular about the movies that are not showing up? You say they are in your emby webclient, but are they showing up when you navigate to the proper section? If you go in the metadata manager in your emby server, you can try refreshing the items missing in Kodi and seeing they are picked up.

If it doesn't work, can you set the add-on debug to debug (do not enable Kodi debug) and try refreshing the item in the emby webclient. Then you can post your Kodi log so we can see what the add-on is doing when it's trying to process the item: http://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/17599-how-to-report-a-problem/

Thanks!

Nothing particular or unusual.  For example, one of the movies that is missing from the Kodi library is Thor: The Dark World.  There are 4 others missing based on a comparison of library size, but I haven't been able to narrow them down to the specific title that is missing becuase there are about 700 movies in my library.  Thor: The Dark World was the first one I was able to verify is missing.

All the other marvel movies that are saved in the same director display in Kodi just fine, except for this one.  They all have identical naming conventions, share similar metadata, etc.  Yet Dark World gets left out of the Kodi library, while the rest all show perfectly.  This movie appears in the proper sections of my Emby server.  And in fact I can play it from emby both on my server and also remotely via a web browser.  Yet for some reason, Kodi isn't seeing it or including it in the library.

I've uploaded my debug log at: http://xbmclogs.com/psaszc7qn

Thanks for taking a look.  I hope you can help me figure out what's going on.

Can you verify if the movies missing should be part of boxsets? I've checked your log, there's no apparent issues. I see the metadata for Thor: The Dark World in your log and everything seems appropriate where it should normally be picked up.

Let me know, you can always check this thread and see if that's what is indeed happening: http://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/24863-movie-boxsets/

SOLVED.  I finally found the problem.  I had an extra "level" in my folder hierarchy for a few of my movies.  Not sure how that happened, but it caused a weird scraping error.  Just corrected it and now 100% of my movies are showing up in Kodi.  Thank you for the help!
