Drijfhout 0 Posted August 28, 2015 Share Posted August 28, 2015 I have connected my CC to an audiosplitter to split digital audio from the chromecast which is connected to a Logitech z5500 sound system. Unfortunately my reciever doesnt recieve a digital signal from the CC despite that I have enabled AC3 passthrough in settings. It does recieve audio, but not DD5.1. fuzzthekingoftrees 10 Posted August 29, 2015 Share Posted August 29, 2015 Are you sure ac3 is being sent to the chromecast? Check your transcoding logs to see what is going on. I think that to get ac3 sent to the chromecast the file has to be mp4 with h.264 video and ac3 audio which isn't particularly common. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
