e123enitan 237
At the emby plugin I turned on the Incremental sync to observer performance of the Kodi, as it behaves funny for the first few min, there I discovered that I does Increase sync each time that I powered up Kodi. But what is surprising is that it circle around same files each, the number of sync is the same each time the Kodi restart, what I could understand is take Friends S4 E22: The One With The Worst Best Man Ever it plays fine on Kodi, also when I review the file structure compared to other seasons there is no diff. I gone through the cycle of pulling logs several times, yet no change" Note, this movies and TV shows are not recently added to server. I am not sure where the issue lies either with the server or Kodi, I have researched t the extent of my limited knowledge, appreciate if you could review and let me know what to do next. Thanks for your support. Two logs at diff times http://xbmclogs.com/pmytv8zmh http://xbmclogs.com/pjbdytnkz
xnappo 1593
Do you have nfo/xml for this show? Series/Season/Episode xml/nfo? The last time we saw this it was due to a corrupt nfo file. These are not required, so if you have them, completely remove them (to a backup location) and see if the problem goes away after a server re-scan. If you want to figure out what is wrong with the NFO, you need to look at the server log after a re-scan and look for those items. e123enitan 237
Thanks I will check the nfo as you said Something is weared, I can't placed it In my first log http://xbmclogs.com/pmytv8zmh in row 187 - 219 these I believed did not update Kodi coz of missing nfo or xml, but when I checked the server metadata/and individual movies folder all the info are stored inthere. Today I pulled a new loghttp://xbmclogs.com/pukor7ti1, I noticed diff set of movies where reported as missing nfo or xml. those reported yesterday are gone. Also I review metadata for TVshows for instance Friends S4, it have metadata identical to S3, I am not sure where identical data are stored and one of the season is reported in log as having issue, very confusing. Would it help if I post server log.? Thanks for looking into this issue.

Thanks for looking into this issue. latest log http://xbmclogs.com/phc0rindh After rebuilding my server and Kodi several times hoping this issue will disappeared, yet it persist. excused my limited knowledge, as per the log the it shows write to Kodi library, yet each time I reboot Kodi it repeats same process over and over, wondering how many times it will write to same library. It would help if the nature of error is indicated, at lease one could trouble shoot there onward, then this not reported as an error, except my lack of knowledge of ready log is an issue here. Could some one point me to where the issue can be corrected, as I am pulling hairs , I try to update log file but it seems it exceeds the max. KINDLY HELP Thanks
xnappo 1593
We need to look at the server log - can you post that? It is likely the server detecting these as changes and telling Emby - so we need to see why the server thinks they changed.

fc7 123
Zip it. It's text and I doubt that after compression it will be too big. BTW I suspect I have a similar problem but it's not happening to me every day. Some days when I turn on Kodi it's doing a "Sync Delete" for +6k. Today only 2 or 3. It's really weird since my library barely change and I don't have nfo or xml files in my library paths. The next time I see this I will share Kodi and Emby logs. Should I configure the addon login in info logging in advance to catch the problem? Right now it's set to none. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk I zip the file yet it fails to upload, aside from that, surely I am not alone in this wired scenario, once I have the log I might reveled the cause of the issue. As you have said, for me some files have both nfo and xml or some one of the two not in any particular order and some files have non, I am not sure why this inconsistency happen. Also I have looked through my server to determine the where the nfo/or xml are saved , I couldn't find it. but one thing that is certain is both the server and Kodi do displays nfo fine and its information is consistent between the two system for movies and tvshow/season/episodes. anyway thanks for your input please share your log when you're chanced

e123enitan 237
Just scratching my head, I just compared the log in the first thread to the resent one-today, it appears that the earlier one have gone, replace with new list. Certainly, something wired is happening between server parsing data to/from Kodi Edited September 3, 2015 by e123enitan
e123enitan 237
yeah it looks like your items are being updated all the time, we are seeing this with other users as well, we are still looking into it. Nice, felt relief I thought I am going kuku, as I did not see anyone else raising this issue, well so nice to heard that the issue is being troubleshoot, let me know if you require further test and log reports on both server/Kodi. Cheers!
Angelblue05 4130
Oh so you started seeing the issue @? Maybe we need to talk to Luke at this point. See what changed in recent build that could cause this behavior. Then we'll get to the bottom of this wayyy faster.
