shorty1483 450
A german guy made this german Upcoming page as a hobby http://tvdb.cytec.us/ based on the thetvdb API. https://cytec.us/forum/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=417&pageNo=1&s=23b7a788d44814c482df3ff7d8b2773e30d585db Is it possible to integrate it into the Server as an option?
shorty1483 450
Is this doable at all @@Luke? "http://tvdb.cytec.us"is just kinda proxy which pulls the data from tvdb and replace the upcoming data with the german airdates. When no german dates are present it passes through the original ones. I asked the owner of the page in August if it's possible to use his site in emby. He said yes. If I understood right, if someone want to use the german airdate site he just needs to replace the TVDB url "http://thetvdb.com" with " http://tvdb.cytec.us "The querys should stay the same. Example therefor is Sickbeard, the only change in the config is the replacement of the TVDB URL. But I ask because I am not really familiar with the whole tvdb api stuff. But german airdates would be so cool in emby for german users. Edited January 8, 2016 by shorty1483

Luke 37046
but that's only german. we need something that can be a bit more comprehensive.
Bufu 18
Yes you are right ... Is it possible to analyse the tv guide and filter/map it with you local tv shows?
Luke 37046
Well sure but that doesn't help users who don't use live tv with emby.
Bufu 18
And you are right again ... Is it possible to develop an addon, which change the upcoming data source?
shorty1483 450
but that's only german. we need something that can be a bit more comprehensive. You won't find anything for multiple countries/languages as long as tvdb refuses language dependant airdate fields. They explained several times that this is not gonna happen. That's why I asked. German speaking area in addition to the mostly US or UK airdates would be a great add-on. Bufu 18
If Luke confirm that it's possible to change the upcoming data source with an addon, i'll try to develop a addon.
