Logs Attached.

Server version:

  Version 3.0.5675.1

Android Client Version:

 Version 2.3.80

Phone: Samsung Galaxy S4

When playing without the MHL connection, everything works fine. When hook up the MHL connection and connect to appradio, everything works fine until I press play (live tv for example) and the app crashes. Also does it with movies.

For what it's worth, this was all working fine (for the last 8 months or so) prior to the new player update with the android client. With this setup, the web interface works fine as well. It's just when the player starts up it crashes.

I am experiencing the same. The android app crashes when using mhl cable, it crashes when pressing play.

Too bad, cause It worked perfect before switching to the "new" player.

Pls fix emby, it worked so good with the former player

Thx for rapid reply Luke....

And another great thx for EMBY. its great. And I forgot to say in my previous post: I think it is a good move to have choosen to use vlc player as the backbone. -Am sure you guys will make MHL work a charm again.

Your app and server is amazing

unfortunately I cannot assist with the MHL-thing since i do not have hdmi-tv or hdmi-monitor in my house (I use it at friends and family, and my pc monitor is DVI)

It worked a treat with the "old" emby player, setup was:

huawei honor 6 , android 4.4.2 with mhl cable

windows 7 pro, Emby server

keep up the good work
