fba 1 Posted July 28, 2015 Share Posted July 28, 2015 I'm wondering if there is any chance of getting the Emby server built for Android? I'm trying to build a small system for in-car entertainment. Ideally, I want a setup that comes on when the car is turned on, and goes off when it is turned off. Android seems to have an advantage for a system like that because the OS runs primarily off a read-only partition, meaning that having the power pulled out from under it should have less of an impact that it might on a Windows machine. From what I have seen, it looks like the server runs with Mono, so it seems that it might be possible to build the server with the Xamarin tools.
