chuga 4 Posted July 23, 2015 Share Posted July 23, 2015 Hi I have a windows server running (on a htpc) and just recently set up a Linux server for testing. The issue is my htpc, using the wmc emby app, started detecting the Linux test server instead of the windows server How can I point it back to the windows server? Solution ebr 14898 Posted July 23, 2015 Solution Share Posted July 23, 2015 Once logged in, go to the user menu and select "switch server". Then select the proper one and go to the advanced config page and tell it to always connect to that one. Be sure it has a static IP though... Theodore 129 Posted July 23, 2015 Share Posted July 23, 2015 I am assuming you are talking about MBC as I do so that is what I am going to tailor this response to... In MBC, login as an account that has permission to manage it. Click the gear icon and go into Configuration. Go all the way to the end for Advanced and under "Server" it probably says "Find Automatically". Change this to your preferred server then exit MBC and relaunch (as any user).
