Attempted install broke my VS C++ install

I'm now with Microsoft sending them my logs to find out what happened. I had VS C ++ x86 2010 installed and working. Emby theater install apparently thought it wasn't & insisted on re-installing it. I thought OK, I'll uninstall it and let Emby theater install it to it's content. The install failed and now my attempted re-install with regular MS installer also fails.

 

This is the message I got from the Emby Theater install failure:

well i guess the hits just keep on coming :) I've never seen that before though. You probably didn't need to do the initial uninstall.
