MBT resizes and locks up (freezes)

Hi guys,

thanks heaps for this awesome project and I really love the Emby server and MBT.

In preparation of upgrading my HTPC to from Windows 7 to Windows 10 I've installed Emby Theatre and it all works fine so far. Both server and MBT are on the latest version and I have the Android app installed on my phone and tablet to remote control MBT. As long as the TV is turned on I can remote MBT just fine (although it sometimes does not respond to every click immediately). I've setup Tunein with some favourites to listen to web radio which works perfectly. Now it comes: turning the TV off and trying to control MBT works just for a short while until MBT resizes and freezes. The sound keeps playing though but there is no control through chromecast over MBT any more. Turning the TV back on shows me exactly the picture described in this older thread. Even the error is almost the same.

On the Android app I have not used the screen mirror function just the remote control itself. It seems, MBT adapts the smaller screen of the mobile/tablet and freezes at the same time. The curser is behind the MBT window and I have no control inside the MBT window with the mouse at all. I have to close MBT and restart to make it work again. Strangely enough this all happens only if the TV is turned off. If it stays on, it's working without problems.

The HTPC is connected via HDMI to my Samsung Surround receiver which feeds the Sony TV (also via HDMI).

Any ideas why MBT is behaving like this when the TV is off?

Thanks guys, appreciate your feedback!

Cheers from Australia

BERT

This problem does not exist when using MBC instead of MBT. Both running on the same box...

I guess I'm stuck with MBC until MBT is fixed with the next major update and cannot upgrade to Win10 ...
