Katelyn 1
Please bear with me as I am not knowledgeable of proper terminology... I downloaded the 3.0.5641.4 Emby Server for Windows (I am using Windows 7) and synced it to my computer's movie library. Then I downloaded the Media Browser channel for my Roku (XD 3050X). The problem is when I try to connect my server to the Roku. I am able to use the "Scan for Network" option and see the message "Server Found. We were able to find a local server running on your network for the following address:" However, when I hit "Continue" I see the message "Unable to Connect: We were unable to connect to that media browser server. Please make sure your server is running before attempting to add it to the server list." Emby is showing as running in my desktop tray and in the processes in my Task Manager. Any direction as to how to fix this would be very helpful!
Happy2Play 8239
If you have the "Media Browser" channel that is the wrong channel. You need Emby for Roku. http://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/8001-emby-for-roku-channel/ Edited July 6, 2015 by Happy2Play
