Tolerant 70 Posted June 24, 2015 Share Posted June 24, 2015 I would love to see an option to enable to let us see Images/Entries for Missing Collection items. A "Placeholder" or the cover art with a slanted "MISSING" across it. etc.. would be nice so users could work to complete their collection. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
ebr 14903 Posted June 24, 2015 Share Posted June 24, 2015 The server and apps understand the concept of missing TV episodes but I'm not sure there is a way to create a missing movie so this might require some modifications to both the server and the apps. Raff 51 Posted June 24, 2015 Share Posted June 24, 2015 Yep, the CollectionItems node in the XML appears to only store the items that you have. So that means the server would have to be updated to store all the items and flag them as available (or missing, since available is the current state). Then the clients would need to be updated to optionally display missing movies, probably by user, since that is how I believe the missing episodes thing works. That adds another change to the server - the user preference.
