Is it possible to get sync to only work when connected over wifi at home? I just tried Sync for the first time and it has used up all my phone internet data

Is this an option now? I thought I read in one of the play store update lists a couple of days ago that this was now an option. But cant find it anyware.

For now it's not an option and it's just a requirement that the device be on wifi or wired lan. If we see some people would like to sync on mobile data then at that point it'll be an option.

Thanks for the quick reply. That's all I needed to know.

Hi Luke, for me it is quite an issue as I have got a Huwaei 4G MiFi box that is in the car as I stream google music whilst I drive all day and would love to watch synced media whilst waiting around when out and about.  The Problem is that my Tablet is always on WiFi as far as it is concerned as it is connecting with a WiFi signal, any idea's on how I can stop it syncing using my 4G data?

Many Thanks

I have an unlimited Mobile account so have no issues syncing over mobile data. Would love the option to use either.
