raptorjr 9
I had the longest run so far with emby, 6 days without a crash. But now I noticed that no scheduled task is running. All of them have default settings. Should run atleast once a day. But none of them have been running for the last 5-6 days, since I started the server. Any clue on where I can start to look to find the problem? Don't say the logs, the stopped working a couple of hours after the last restart of the server =\
Luke 37049
I think this is happening on some Linux distros right now. Someone else reported this, or maybe it was you? Curious are you on mono 4?
raptorjr 9
Yes, I'm using Mono 4. Dont think I mentioned this problem before. VladTepz 46
My friend xtropy was having the same issue, he resolved his issue by, Issue resolved after changing the URL from http://serverip:8096/emby to only http://serverip:8096/ . Adding http://serverip:8096/emby causes GUID and Scheduled Task issues, amongst other problems OP: http://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/21765-scheduled-tasks-issue-on-ubuntu-server/ Not sure if it's the same issue you're having though, but it's worth a check. -Vlad

I'm not trying to change or create a task. The default tasks created was not running at all. And they should be running, even when there is no webpage open. However, after a computer restart it seems that things might be working. Too soon to call yet, but something is alive inside Emby =)
draggy 0
My scheduled tasks also aren't running. I haven't added any triggers, but the default ones obviously aren't running. For instance the application updates should run every 24 hours (default trigger) it last ran 3 days ago. 2015-06-25 20:55:16.8526 Info - Main: Emby Command line: /opt/emby-server/MediaBrowser.Server.Mono.exe -programdata /var/lib/emby-server Operating system: Unix 3.13.0.53 Processor count: 2 64-Bit OS: True 64-Bit Process: True Program data path: /var/lib/emby-server Mono: 4.0.1 (tarball Tue Jun 2 13:22:02 UTC 2015) Application Path: /opt/emby-server/MediaBrowser.Server.Mono.exe 2015-06-25 20:55:17.2204 Info - App: Application version: 3.0.5641.
draggy 0
Seems that it had something to do with the kernel version that I was using making mono unstable, mentioned here: http://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/19955-emby-crashing-ubuntu-server/page-6 I upgraded to kernel version 3.13.0-55 and after a reboot the tasks are running. Or maybe it was the reboot, I don't know.
raptorjr 9
I'm having the same problem again, kernel 3.13.0-52. They worked for a while after a reboot. But now I have to start them manually again.
draggy 0
@@raptorjr I was on 3.13.0-53 when it wasn't working, so I would try newer
