Hi, I am really new to Chromecast but I think I configured it all well. It plays nicely music and youtube videos.

Problem is that when using Emby I cannot pause or change volume. Skiping to other track is ok but not inside the track.

Is it a commom problem?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Luke,

Thanks for the quick answer.

I am casting from a Chrome browser running on a Win 8.1 PC.

Chromecast configuration on the browser plugin is "High (720 p)"

Also Emby browser client is configured to a "Max Chromecast bitrate" of 3Mbps.

Movies are playing just fine - no hiccups after start.

If you are using the latest (or previous) beta there is a known bug causing similar behavior.

I just started using Chromecast, and noticed when I am casting a movie or anything, I am unable to pause what is playing. Matter of fact, I can't control anything....Can't play, pause, fast forward/reverse, volume.

Is there a setting I am missing or is this a bug I have found?

Thanks in advance everyone!!

Luke,

Casting from Google Chrome Desktop to Chromecast Device on TV is working for me.

Casting from Android Mobile to Chromecast Device on TV is still an issue with no controls once started. Hope to see this fix in an upcoming Server update.

Even better, would be to see the new Emby Logo show up in the Vizio Internet Apps section on my two (2) Vizio TV's!!  :-)

Should I share any logs? As I said, I open google chrome, tell it to cast to chromecast and it plays, but I have zero controls over what is playing.
