archangelz 13
Just installed the Emby Beta plugin for Kodi and it's quite useful, but one thing is missing right now. My library is set up into three folders on my NAS. Movies, TV and Mixed movies/tvs (documentaries folder) What I'm seeing right now when I sync over to Kodi is the "Mixed movies and TV" Movies are getting synced up to Kodi, but the TV bits are not. Shows up fine in the web client/server but not in the kodi plugin. Anyone come across this problem before? Using 3.0.5607.0 with Emby 0.1.7 on the newest Kodi isengard beta on Android. Angelblue05 4130
Yeah, mixed content is not something we can support in Kodi, because of the way it works. There's only three category for content in Kodi - Movies, TV Shows and Music videos. The only way to make content appear is if you'd split the mixed content into one folder being tv shows, and the other one being only movies. Movies category is used by default for mixed content, so this is why you are not seeing the tv shows. I hope this answers your question.

One time for the movies and one time for the shows...
Angelblue05 4130
Really? How would it work for nodes, etc? It is something that worked in Mediabrowser, however I don't know how it would be handled via native library. Well, if there are any mixed folders we can just look on a per-item base what content it has and add that to the library. Can you put it on the Trello board ? I can take a look within a few days.

Another improvement would be to duplicate the folder structure from Emby with Kodi.
jordy 284
@@Angelblue05 - Does this FR include playback of videos classified as "Home Videos"? EDIT: sorry I just noticed that there is a separate FR on the trello board. Edited July 9, 2015 by jordy
