Gamebrowser question

Thanks!

Updated the xml, but now I get "An unknown error prevented this game from launching".

I looked in the log with the most recent timestamp and I get this:

"Error,,*** GAMEBROWSER *** Consoles list is empty,62,Worker thread for Play Action"

I followed the guide to the letter, so I am a little lost.

Also, just as an aside, does gamebrowser work with a 360?

Any thoughts?  i'm still running into issues and would like to see how this works before my trial is up.

I'm very sorry.  We got left a little hanging in this department when the developer left.  We need to solicit help from other Gamebrowser users out there to get the instructions shored up.

As for your second question - no, GB cannot launch games on the 360.

  • 2 weeks later...

Will the same steps for MBC also work for MBT?

I don't think MBT requires the client side configuration...  or, if it does, it is built into it.

Huh...

The games list is blank for me in 2 different MBT installs. I even removed all the games on Emby Server and added just SNES games, and nothing...

Okay, then sorry, I don't know.  It is possible that game support simply isn't complete in MBT at this point but this xml configuration being discussed here is specific to the plug-in that was written for MBC.

Ok no worries. It did work at one point. I'll just be patient.
