locally every time I click on mediabrowser in media center it says access denied wrong user or password, then it logs in, then you have to select a profile...locally I just want it to display the movies leaving out 2 steps

Sounds like you have configured the system to log in to either a server or a user that doesn't exist anymore.  Once you are in, go into the config pages and be re-set the options for both the server connection (Advanced page) and Start up behavior (General page).

I have this exact problem. The server is set properly on the Advanced page, but on the General Page I see no section for "Start up behavior". All is see is a section called "Log In" which says "Configured to Login as XXXX". Unfortuately XXXX is the account for my old Emby server but I see no way to change that.

If you have it configured to log in to a nonexistent account then you'll either need to create that account temporarily so you can log in and change it or manually edit the config file.

Thanks. I did both. For some reason the config file was still pointing to my old server, which cost a lot of time to boot.
