Roku not Connecting to Media Browser

I'm not able to connect my Roku to my media browser server.  My Roku sees the server and the IP address is correct but it says that it is unable to connect.

Other devices on my network can connect (Windows Phone, iPhone, iPad, FireTV) so its not the server.  Looking through other posts it was suggested that I uninstall and reinstall the app on my Roku - which I did - and it is still not working.

Any ideas?

I am having the same problem only from my Roku. It was working today but after the update to server version 3.5588 it stopped working. I can see the server when doing a scan but it says unable to connect when trying to connect. I am able to get to the server from my phones app even when not connected through the wifi and using the 4g service. Also able to get to it from other computers. I confirmed I'm using your roku app. What do you need to help me?

Does the app say Emby or Media Browser? Instead of trying to connect the discovered server, what if you try entering the server address manually. does that work?

My apologies for confusing the apps.  I was able to get the CORRECT app and it works well now.  Thank you for clarifying that.

I got the correct app and now its working - I'm sure there was a reason but it was slightly frustrating that I had to actually get a new app instead up updating the old app.

I knew the Emby change had happened but I wasn't informed (or I was I missed it) that I would have to uninstall one app and replace it with another.

But, thanks to the great people on this forum, I am back in business and happy to be streaming my content again :)

Thanks a billion!

The reason is because you were probably actually using the really old app that was retired several months ago.
