NickC4555 0
When I select the Emby app from the Roku home screen, it says "retrieving" for a few seconds then goes back to the Roku menu. The Emby server is running and I can access it from another PC using Emby Theater. I can access other services (e.g. Netflix, iPlayer) using the Roku. It was working fine yesterday. Luke 36888
Are you using the Emby Roku channel? http://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/8001-emby-for-roku-channel/ If you are using the old channel called Media Browser you will need to switch. Luke 36888
Ok. Can you install the zip version and obtain a log from the device? http://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/16251-how-to-obtain-a-log-from-the-media-browser-roku-client/ thanks. NickC4555 0
The problem doesn't happen with the zip version, so I'm guessing the log wouldn't be much use. Luke 36888
in that case i would try using the installed version, when it dumps you back to the main screen, go to the server entry screen, try removing your server and then adding it back
NickC4555 0
Ok, now the dev version is hanging. Slightly different to the release version, it stays on "retrieving" rather than going back to the home screen. Here's the log: http://pastebin.com/Xy8qv2Jg
Luke 36888
Ok, I'm trying to reproduce this and not having much luck. can you post the server log from when this occurred? thanks.
NickC4555 0
I think these cover the period. The first one would be when I first experienced the problem with the release client, the second most of the tests with both the dev and release clients. http://www.nanagram.co.uk/embylogs/server-63564875937.txt http://www.nanagram.co.uk/embylogs/server-63564897752.txt http://www.nanagram.co.uk/embylogs/server-63564912000.txt
