drecca 0
Question is in the title Can I upload all my content (mp4 mostly) to google drive, and emby just scans the library from there? I would use Cloud Sync, but if I have to keep my content locally, that defeats the purpose.
Luke 36879
not yet but definitely something to consider for the future
Deathsquirrel 741
If you could do that how long before your ISP started having conniptions? I know my media bit rates are far higher than Netflix. It would add up quickly.
martinbowling 3
On windows you can use NetDrive and mount google drive as a network drive. Works great with Emby. There are a few fuse solutions for Linux & OS X as well depending on the size of your library & the server resources you have it might work. I currently run an emby with netdrive on a windows 2k12 vps and it works flawlessly. I recommend at least 4gb of RAM and 100gb free for caching from drive.
