Dreamster 0 Posted February 4, 2015 Share Posted February 4, 2015 I took my computer with me on holiday, I have the server installed on the same computer. When i started the computer, Everything looked normal, the server started a bit slow but it started. When i tried launch media browser it told me that it couldnt connect to the server. Even though the server was running. The only difference was that I didnt have a internet Connection. Must I have a internet Connection ? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I dont have any apps or web logins, i just use that computer as both server and player, And all programs are installed on that computer. But at the moment i dont have an internet Connection. ebr 14903 Posted February 4, 2015 Share Posted February 4, 2015 Yeah, I do this all the time on my laptop. Please provide an MBC log when the problem occurs. One guess is that you configured MBC to find your server using its external public IP address instead of using the machine name, localhost or local IP address. I have to plug my 3G card into computer to get emby to launch Everything is stored locally. Very frustrating. Any suggestions???
